Poetry & Place at Picton

Award-winning, established, emerging poets from the STARTS region - Jane Baker (Yass), Richard Bell (Bargo), Russell Erwin (Bannister) and Lizz Murphy (Binalong) - will give a Poetry and Place performance at Wollondilly Library, 42 Menangle Street, Picton NSW, Saturday March 5 at 2 pm. Hear live poetry, a discussion of place, and more about the region’s poetry as public art project Poetry: The Indelible Stencil.

Poetry and Place will include a brief open mike session – you are invited to bring a short poem on place or a comment or short anecdote about any favourite place in the Tablelands or Highlands. RSVP to share or to add to the library’s Poetry and Place display board (images also welcome - copies only). All welcome. RSVP helpful: phone Wollondilly Library on 4677 8300. Admission free.
